Pagebet is one of the fastest growing independent bookmakers in the UK. We operate betting shops along with a large telephone betting business and we also provide an odds/data supply service to many other independent bookmakers.

Pagebet have been established since 1963 (formerly as Reuben Page).

Currently Trading from over 50 shops across the UK.

From February 2008 Pagebet had the benefit of substantial backing from Advantage Capital (advantagecapital.co.uk) a UK based private equity firm.

The investment from Advantage Capital will allow Pagebet to grow the shop estate to over 100 shops within 4 years.

Pagebet currently employ over 240 people throughout our estate and at our modern Head Office and Call Centre in Durham.

The company supplies odds and information to independent bookmakers across the UK.

Members of The Independent Betting Arbitration Service (IBAS) and The Association of British Bookmakers (ABB).

Pagebet have been catering to the North East's betting requirements for over 20 years and are now established as one of the leading independent bookmakers across the country. Our Head Office is a newly developed building situated on the outskirt of Durham.

We have dedicated staff who have extensive sporting knowledge and are committed to giving our Customers a Service that would exceed any other within the betting industry.

Training & Development

Pagebet recognises that the Training and Development of all our employees is crucial to the success and performance of the business.

Initial induction training is provided to all new employees at the start of their employment. This is then followed by skills and knowledge training that is relevant to the individual's role.

Training programmes are in place for Customer Service Assistants, Deputy Managers and Trainee Managers. These programmes give each employee the skills and knowledge they require to carry out their duties effectively and confidently. The majority of training is 'on the job' carried out in shop under the guidance of our in Shop Trainers.

Shop managers are expected to drive the training and development programmes for their shop teams.

The company also has a series of in house courses that are available to develop the skills and performance of employees in their current roles which can help develop them for future opportunities.
